The first snow storm of the season in Red Hook NY is happening right now.  I was really hoping it would have waited until January but that would be asking for too much.  Not to mention, how unhappy those who indulge in winter sports would be.

 My hope is that it will be a bit on the mild side and we won’t have an ice storm like last year which damaged many older trees.  In the village of Red Hook several old trees in the memorial park snapped.

Red Hook is a trees city so I am sure the Village Green Committee will see to it that lost trees are replaced.
